Activated Black Charcoal Smoothie

So charcoal in a smoothie, health benefit or aesthetic benefit? Let’s be real, it’s both. Ever since I started taking food photos I’ve definitely loved jumping on any visually captivating health trends. It’s not just for looks though.



Activated charcoal doesn't have much flavour. What it does have is loads of health benefits and a beautiful, dramatic colour - and who doesn't want that in their smoothie bowls?! Charcoal is also a great detoxifying start to the day and will seriously light up your life. It’s loaded with electrolyte-rich coconut water, antioxidant-packed fruits and mineral-loaded greens.
