Creamy Tahini Sauce Pasta

My current new-ish obsession - tahini! I mean, what the heck, I’ve been missing out you guys! There’s soooooo much you can do with it, it’s nuts! (or seeds!) I often use it as a salad dressing base and have recently discovered that it’s also a great pasta sauce base! It is neutral enough that it is easily paired with other flavours and generally goes with everything. I mean, you can even make caramel sauce from it… mind blown!



Comfort food anyone? This rich pasta dish was what I had for lunch after a busy week at school and perfect for the rainy weather. I’ve been feeling a bit run down and this bowl of goodness really hit the spot. What I love about this pasta is that it is rich tasting without weighing me down.



I absolutely loved how easy it is to throw together, how rich and creamy it is, and how it goes perfectly with just about anything I could choose to pour it over! This creamy tahini sauce is so good served over pretty much anything. Over rice? Fabulous. On baked potatoes? Unbelievable. On pasta? Mega yum! I definitely had a had time not eating the sauce before the pasta was ready. Oops!



So, go buy some tahini and seriously devote a day to experimenting with it. You’ll be pleasantly surprised… I’ll save you a seat on the tahini train (wink).
