Double Chocolate Granola

For the longest time I avoided making granola because it just seemed so hard!! I could make a yeasted bread recipe but I still avoided granola making. How ironic huh!. I also have a love-hate relationship with granola. I loveeee eating it, but I don’t love that a measly 1/4 cup serving often has 200+ calories, or that I have absolutely no self-control around an open package of those crispy clusters.



is there anything more utterly delicious yet wholesome than good granola? Not just any granola, but the kind with big, chunky clusters, not too sweet, and crunchy, where just a sprinkling on top of your yogurt leads to snacking by the handful because it’s just so addicting. There’s just something about granola that never gets old, especially when you double down on chocolate and turn it into these double chocolate granola. This double chocolate healthy granola is literally the best breakfast option… or lunch, or dinner, or anytime snack if we’re being real. It has the perfect level of chocolate, and crunch!



I also stir in some chocolate chunks that melt around the toasted granola and form crunchy, rich, chocolatey clumps. I would argue that chocolate is a (mental) health food. The end result is rich, crunchy chocolate granola with clumps enrobed in melted dark chocolate. This recipe is super chocolatey, adds a sweet crunch to anything you sprinkle it on and has such an incredible, true deep chocolate flavour. It is packed with goodness and so super healthy. What really makes it delicious is the chocolate. Oh wait, double chocolate!
