Who doesn’t love a comforting breakfast?! I have to say that I’m a huge fan of savoury and sweet breakfasts. I wanted to have both types today so I decided that these vegan PB&J wholegrain buckwheat crepes would be the perfect way to start the morning and can be a really good way to switch things up and bring a little bit of variety into my breakfast rotation.

This recipe for buckwheat crepes has been a go-to for me for years now, and I’m yet to get bored of it. Traditionally, these are made on a crepe maker called a billig that's basically a big round hot plate. Sadly, I don't have it. However, you can still have pretty good success with these on an everyday skillet. They might just be a little thicker, which makes folding them a little harder, but it's a minor thing.

This PB&J combo has become my new breakfast recipe for lazy mornings. A crepe is like having a mini burrito for breakfast, and quite frankly, who wouldn’t want that? They’re so quick to put together, and will definitely set you up for a great day. They also make a fantastic brunch option – add them to a brunch buffer, and everyone will be impressed! On the whole, it’s a wonderful versatile recipe you just can’t go wrong with.

IF YOU EVER GIVE THIS RECIPE A TRY, DO LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW AND/OR TAG @FRUITYEMZ AND HASHTAG #FRUITYEMZ ON YOUR INSTAGRAM POST! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL YOUR YUMMY CREATIONS 🙂
