Pumpkin Knotted Dinner Rolls

Another pumpkin recipe for you, quite a few lately, but can I be blamed at all? It’s hard to resist this pumpkin pure goodness. After all, pumpkin season only lasts for a few months, unfortunately, so I’m taking full advantage of it. The season demands orange. There are pumpkins sitting on our front porch right now, and the maple outside has turned many shades of orange. In my kitchen too, orange has been putting in an appearance, with all of the squashes now on the market, and my new resolve to eat more sweet potatoes and carrots.

So, dinner rolls! Soft, fluffy and buttery, these vegan pumpkin knotted dinner rolls just ooze the feeling of comfort like hardly anything else! They are simply delicious. They take a little time to make but it’s very simple and worth every second. They look utterly festive which makes them the perfect side dish for Halloween or Thanksgiving. You can probably tell by now that I love pumpkin recipes and autumn in general.

Don't fancy pumpkin? You don’t get to taste it really, but it’s there, plus it gives the buns a lovely golden to orange colour. These dinner rolls are so easy to make, just take a bit of time for dough to rise and then rise again before baking, but in couple hours – you’ve got a delicious treat to go with that cup of tea! These pumpkin dinner rolls are the savoury kind that can be enjoyed with your meal or with some nice butter spread over.
