Let’s do some math here. Chewy buckwheat noodles + a thick, creamy, and sesame sauce = perfection right? Right. I may not get an A in math class with those skills, but who the heck cares?! I have a bowl of this delicious vegan sesame garlic noodles to enjoy! Noodles are a girls best friend and these easy garlic sesame noodles are without a doubt my favorite noodle recipe to date! They require just a few ingredients, are gluten free, ready in 15 minutes, and can be eaten hot or cold!
I make most of my meals with the nutritional info in mind. I like to eat consciously not just mindlessly. Eating foods I know will help my body and my family’s body flourish is my aim most of the time. Sesame seeds, coconut aminos, green onions, garlic, these are all ingredients that do the body good. They all have amazing benefits. These noodles, also known as ma jiang mian, a common street food in Taiwan shows that you don’t need a lot of fancy or expensive ingredients to make some yummy noods, and it’ll also fill your belly up and leave you happy and satisfied.
I hope you enjoy these lightning fast, nutritious and delicious noodles, which totally fulfilled my noodle cravings while being healthier and cheaper than takeout! Traditionally this is made without veggies at all as the sesame sauce is so flavourful, so it won’t matter what combination of veggies you use.
