I’ve been obsessed with this crispy tofu recipe ever since I started making it a few months ago. It’s really easy to make, and you will be surprised at how crispy your tofu gets just by baking it in the oven.
This vegan baked orange tofu is the vegan version of orange chicken, which was one of my favourite Chinese takeout dishes to order growing up. This recipe keeps the spirit of the dish with its sticky-sweet sauce but delivers it in a more wholesome way. The sauce is made of fresh orange juice and zest with minimal added sugar to keep it fresh and light. The homemade sticky sweet orange sauce coats chunks of ultra crispy tofu for a dinner that is sure to impress!
